Hotel very convenient for walking to Faro old town and all city centre amenities. Bus and train links to other parts of the Algarve are 5-6 mins walk from the hotel. Could not find any faults with the hotel, food good, clean,staff good and nice extra touches eg Easter treats for all guests and a flower for the ladies, would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is lovely mainly because of the staff who are super friendly. We have been travelling through Spain in Portugal and this has been our favourite place to stay

Good location, poor bedroom quality, top breakfast

Great location in Faro. Rooms on the road side of the hotel very noisy (I.e. not Marina facing). The shared or communal elements of the hotel are well maintained but bedrooms are dated and in need of an upgrade. The mattresses are fairly hard and bedding is basic, bathrooms are well past their best, and rooms feel a little unloved compared to communal areas. I’ve stayed a few times now. The breakfast is one of the best! The fruit is plentiful and fresh and the selection of food offers great choice and quality. The pianist at breakfast is lovely as is the outdoor rooftop space for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Outstanding staff, especially Rubem. Lovely choice at breakfast. Great room with a view of the marina. Treated to an anniversary bottle of fizz and fruit which was a lovely touch. Some noise one night above us; sounded like chairs Being dragged across the floor and didn’t stop until midnight. Only happened that one time thankfully. Air con didn’t seem to work in our room, but not sure if it’s off because of the season. Superb location with great access to all modes of transport.

Very Comfortable

Staff are excellent apart from one very rude cleaner who was cleaning the lifts. Check in was efficient and insightful into what to do and where to eat in Faro. The room was great - very comfy bed overlooking the marina. The bathroom was tired and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was great with loads of options. My only gripe would be why no warm plates for hot food? The downstairs restaurant Adeo was superb and we actually ate the three times during our week stay. Great food, wine and service and very reasonably prices. Would highly recommend. The pool wasn’t open but you could use the sunbeds on the roof top terrace. Very scruffy up there but I would imagine it will get tidied up in time for May. Overall, a great week in a good hotel.

Great hotel

Spacious bedroom overlooking the marina. Breakfast and lunch we had was excellent, plenty of choice. Service in restaurant and bars very professional. Quick check in. Very clean in public areas and rooms.

The property was in a perfect central location overlooking the attractive marina. The staff, buffet breakfast and hotel were all excellent. Our only negative was that noisy construction work was being carried out whilst we were there which resonated throughout the hotel from about mid morning to late afternoon. Why oh why didn’t Expedia or the hotel warn us at the time of booking….not good!

A comfortable place in the centre of the action

Best breakfast venue in the city. Wonderful views, extensive buffet, efficient staff and a pianist. What’s not to love! Registration is slow. The furniture in the lobby is well used and needs a good cleaning. Bedrooms are comfortable and well lit. Lots of hangers and two places for two travellers to put their suitcase for ease of access.
