A night at Lodge of the Four Seasons

The room was clean, but the carpet in the halls needs replaced bad. Apparently, they are trying to do updates, as the tile floor in the bathroom had the spacers between the tiles, but there was no grout. Overall, the beds were comfortable, and it was a good place to stay.

The room I had, the carpet was stained, the toilet ran constantly, and the hot water in the shower was not controllable. On the other hand, the staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were excellent.

I’ll never stay there again! Building we were in was extremely run down. Bathroom was very small. Water in shower kept fluctuating between cold & hot without touching it. Heat was on in the bathroom & we couldn’t get it off.

The property in side is very dated, joles in the walls that had mud placed over it but it dtill left an indentation in the walls, wall paper was coming away from the walls. Bathroom had plan wood shelves that was painted over with out molding. Grout was coming away from the tub.

For the price I paid, the rooms were like a motel not a hotel. There were bugs in the room especially in the bathroom. Pool was small and no seats. Don’t recommend at all. Terrible!

Canceling family vacation plans for the Lodge

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, the choice of food between all venues was very limited. The table at HK’s they sat us at was sticky and unclean, the menu had food stuck to it, my wife’s silverware was dirty. Although the Japanese garden was nice, the property was in great disrepair, rotted wood throughout the property. The coffee was atrocious. I was thinking of planning a family vacation for 15 people but not now so much.
