Had a bad experience when we arrived to our room and found a leak, it had been acknowledged because there was a trash can under the leak that was overflowing with water, staff took around 10-15 mins to move us to another room that had the same problem. We were tired at this point so just slept with the noise but the room smelled humid and the bed sheets made me and my family itchy. As mentioned in many other reviews, the place needs updating, but the staff is nice and tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible, unfortunately this is the second and last time we stay here.

Hotel needs updating. Paint is chipped in many places; in elevators, walls leading to rooms, inside room. There was no hot water when we wanted to take a bath a night, room service was called and maintenance did arrive within 5 minutes. Maintenance checked it, left and came back and it worked. He said they turn it off shut off valve when the rooms are not being occupied. In the morning the hot water took a while to kick in as well. It was a double bed room, blanket on one bed was a little stained. It was late when we saw it so we just did not use it. When we arrived there was some sort of an event going on in front of our room so we were not able to use the pool or hot tub right in front of our room. We decided to use the one close to the office with no hot tub. We also could not use our front chairs/table because of the event. If front office knew an event was being held there and there was capacity we should have been placed in another section. The hotel did not seem fully booked. Overall I would not stay there again. The aesthetic is beautiful but it needs major updating.

Growing up in Laredo, I have many memories of La Posada as a kid and I must say La Posada is Nostalgic and still has that quality of a genuine, Laredo landmark neighboring San Agustin Cathedral and Plaza. Other competitive accommodations were more expensive yet located in North Laredo and La Posada is located where Interstate 35 begins practically at the US side of the border at International Bridge 2. Barely a 9 hour stay, I wish I could have experienced their restaurants which are also some of the best of Laredo. Parking was also a breeze and secure. Staying in Laredo? La Posada is a no brainer.

Beautiful hotel. Made me feel like I was in a resort in Mexico. Clean, safe and quiet. Area around it was a little sketchy but not the hotels fault. Easy parking, good security. Restaurant was good for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nice fitness room and pools. It was my first time here for business. Will definitely be staying here every time I come to town. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel..

Pool was crystal clear, nice balcony view, water fountains were all running, the food was delicious and the staff, from the valet, parking folks to the restaurant, the reception staff, all courteous and cheery, they are always "yes" and never "no". My next trip to Laredo I look forward to staying at La Posada.
