Beautiful classic old hotel in Wengen. Close to the railway station. Good buffet breakfast. We got an upgrade to a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. Electrical could do with upgrading although everything worked. Staff were very pleasant

Hotel Regina Wengen offers a charming Alpine atmosphere and breathtaking mountain views. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and breakfast featured a nice selection of local specialties. However, the room’s carpet was noticeably unclean, which detracted from the otherwise cozy décor. To make matters worse, we expected a single French bed but instead had two double beds pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable gap between mattresses. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel’s central location makes it a good base for exploring Wengen and the Jungfrau region.

My daughter and I arrived at this beautiful hotel in the Alps, and we were greeted by the super friendly concierge Meriem with the news they had upgraded us! The hotel was incredibly beautiful as well as our beautiful room , we the amazing breakfast provided by the hotel, and all the extra features we took advantage of during our stay. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit!

What an amazing stay!! Just a 2 minute walk from the train station, amazing views from hotel. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever seen - I’m gluten free and had sooo many options (which I’m not used to). Had everything we needed, and close walking distance to grocery store and tons of shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!!

Property was historic in nature. Quite grand. Many artifacts from the region during the ages in the region. ie: Snow sleds; ancient skis; racing sleds. Magnificent hotel. Dining room chandelier was massive. Staff were very nice. Meriam spared no expense to ensure i was very comfortable during my stay. Breakfast provided for anyones taste and needs. Highly recommend it.

Everything was wonderful! Location ,hospitality and food amazing! Views from room were amazing!! But, the shower was moldy and toilet had dark brown stains. A deep clean and update the scratched up furniture this would have been perfect!!! Parking is limited and you have to hike your luggage up the hill a bit.

Good stay.

The hotel is alright. A little dated, but that’s a part of Swiss mountain charm. Room needs some work, but overall everything was good. The views are just breathtaking!
