The hotel has a commanding position in Wengen. The view of the mountains and valley are fantastic, and the common areas attract the guests to them. The hotel was clearly high-end decades ago, but has faded a bit. Some will find this charming, while others may not. The breakfast was excellent and should accommodate all tastes. The staff were outstanding, very personable and helpful.

Beautiful views from the room and restaurant. Good breakfast and great service. But hotel is a bit old, pools are heavily chlorinated, and the bed isn’t that comfortable.

Perfect location right next to the ski train going to Kleine Scheidegg and a cable car going to Mannlichen. Amazing spa with warm sea water pool fuul of water jet massage spots, hamam, sauna, dipping pools, and an ice water plunge bucket. Breakfast choices are a bit repetitive, but plentiful.

Hotel Silberhorn in Wengen is nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly positioned, it offers breathtaking views of the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley that elevate the entire stay. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. The hotel itself delivers everything you'd expect from a true 4-star property-comfort, quality, and thoughtful amenities. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with a wide, high-quality selection to start the day right. Considering the location and experience, it offers remarkable value for money. An unforgettable stay-I absolutely loved every moment here.

Nestled at the feet, or rather, the knees, of the Jungfrau mountain region, the Braunbär is everything you hope for out of this experience. It is super convenient to the train station, which visitors will use often, and it is across the street from the gondola station which takes you up to Männlichen, Gringlewald, and the Jungfrau Express. The village of Wengen (car-less) is quaint, yet has everything you’ll need. Cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bars, sporting goods stores, etc. We had a generous balcony to our room which was deep and ran the length of the room. The room size was very suitable and large-ish for this sort of property. Everything worked well, and the room, bed, and couch were comfortable.
