A honeymoon to remember, for all the wrong reasons! We booked a sunset suite which was unfortunately very dirty on arrival with a view of the back of a restaurant, no sunset! Hotel was full so ended up being downgraded to a basic room! Overall we found the service very poor in some areas of the hotel, particularly breakfast. Towels are on sun beds at 8am which doesn’t set a nice tone! Have to book restaurants in advance too. Spa was very tired and not reflective of 5* hotel but spa treatments were enjoyable. Hotel ruined our laundry! Which was the cherry on top of our stay. Not sure where this hotel has so many excellent reviews. Unfortunately this was a very disappointing honeymoon, that did not live up to our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay from start to finish as a party of 10 from grandparents down to young grandchildren. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were superb especially with the young children. The food and service was great and the location exceptional. We cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the amenities and setting are in tune with nature. It's a great place to stay and relax. Our top deck chalet room was 20 metres from the beach and 15 metres from the restaurant. Just perfect to zone out and chill for a week.The staff were great, attentive and helpful when needed and never too forward. Food excellent, plenty of choice - just a great week in a fabulous location. Venture out into the national park or take a glass bottom boat to interrupt the beach time. HIGHLY recommended - hotel and location.

Our stay at LUX* Le Morne was simply incredible. the best experience we've had in Mauritius, far exceeding all expectations. We stayed in a Deluxe Room on the ground floor, which was spacious, stylish, and perfectly located near the gardens, pool, and beach. Dining at The Kitchen was a highlight, with outstanding breakfast and themed dinner buffets. A special mention to Chef Vishal for their exceptional dishes and personal touches. The Indo-Mauritian night was especially memorable. Evenings were magical with sunsets over the Indian Ocean, live music, and local rum at the bar. The grounds were immaculate, the beach stunning and uncrowded, and the service flawless—from poolside drinks to spa treatments and thoughtful room care. What truly set LUX\* Le Morne apart was the warmth, friendliness, and attentiveness of every staff member. From the welcome at reception to the restaurant and bar teams to the special touches from the Housekeeping teams. Every interaction made us feel like family. We are so grateful to the entire LUX\* Le Morne team and can’t wait to return.

We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Lux Le Morne, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. Travelling to Mauritius to get married just the two of us felt like a big step, and we were initially a little nervous about whether we’d chosen the right place. But we didn’t need to worry. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at ease and supported us every step of the way. A special thank you to Manie, Hermant, and Bianca from Celebration Corner. They were outstanding. Every detail had been thought through with such care, and their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel effortless and personal. Hermant’s photography skills are second to none. He captured our day so naturally and beautifully, and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. One of the standout moments was our private wedding meal in the treehouse on the beach. The setting was magical, and it was made even more special by our brilliant waiter, Neelesh, whose friendly and attentive service made the evening unforgettable. We genuinely loved every minute of our time at Lux Le Morne. It’s a place full of beauty, calm, and heart, and we’ll always look back on it with the happiest of memories.

Beautiful property, wonderful staff. Location wise it feels like you’re isolated and away from everything. But if you’re staying for a couple of nights there is enough restaurants and food options but if you want to explore beyond the hotel you’ll have to go out of your way to see Mauritius otherwise your only experience of Mauritius might be of the hotel (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). The beach was nice, the seafood was great and there were lots of water activities. Take advantage of the glass bottom boat tour (complimentary for guests) that leaves at 10am and 2pm or charter a speed boat excursion to another beach with festive vibes. At night it’s generally quiet but there was a bon fire near the edge of the property. If you plan on making it a boozy vacation go for the All Inclusive it balances out in the end.

My boyfriend and I recently spent seven unforgettable days at your hotel, and we can say without hesitation that it was the most beautiful and memorable hotel experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional service—especially thanks to the charming Matthieu, who greeted us so politely and made us feel at home right away. Nestled at the foot of a breathtaking Le Morne, the hotel offered stunning scenery from sunrise to sunset, with views stretching from the sea to the jungle. We’d also love to extend a special thanks to Vyshee, who gave us a wonderful tour of the hotel and was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Her joyful and loving spirit truly made a lasting impression. The design of the hotel blends perfectly with nature, with open spaces that make you feel like you’re in the heart of the outdoors—yet with the added comfort of the kindest and most attentive staff always ready to help. We stayed on half-board and thoroughly enjoyed every single breakfast and dinner. The cuisine was rich in variety and quality—the hotel buffet stands out as one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The hotels beach was simply beautiful. Just like a scene from a travel magazine, and even more magical in real life. We also appreciated the wide range of activities, from yoga and themed dinners to a private dolphin trip, which was a truly special experience. Thank you all for making our stay so remarkable.
