Lobby staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was ok. Coffee needed some work.

The house was perfect.The dock needs to be repaired, it was unusable. If the dock gets repaired, we would rent it again.

Nice location right off of I-20. New steakhouse opening right next door. Room on 3rd floor had suffered water infiltration and the popcorn ceiling had peeled off in places. The hotel pool was filled in with dirt, probably to cut expenses.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house for our church youth retreat! The location was absolutely perfect, offering a wonderful backdrop for our group. There was a ton to do right on the property, which was a huge bonus for keeping everyone entertained – the availability of kayaks, paddleboards, swimming, and fishing meant there was never a dull moment.Overall, everything was great, and the owner was incredibly helpful and fast-responding to any questions we had, which we greatly appreciated.However, there were just a few minor downfalls that impacted our experience. The elevator was not working, and with four levels, carrying luggage and groceries up and down was quite a workout and definitely hard on the knees. Additionally, the bugs and spiders were a considerable issue. We found it nearly impossible to sit on the porch or go outside without being swarmed, especially at night, and every time the door was opened, they seemed to find their way into the house. Lastly, the air conditioning was not working in the garage, where the pool table and ping pong table are located. This made the space super hot and uncomfortable, preventing us from enjoying the game area for very long.Despite these challenges, the overall positive aspects and the wonderful amenities available on the lake made for a memorable retreat! Would definitely book again!

Flew in from Seattle and booked this place so the cousins could get some family time. We always look for accommodations where we don’t need to leave the property. This one exceeded our expectations! It had all the water toys and then some. The aqua lily pad for the lake was something new and a hit with kids and adults alike! The little touches in the house were so thoughtful and made our stay so much easier - toiletries, slippers, fans on the bedroom nightstands, an abundance of house and beach towels, and s’more sticks. It didn’t matter that we forgot to pack some items from home. Everything we needed was there. The grandparents drove from an hour away and were totally impressed. They plan on renting it themselves at some point. I will look no further. This is where I plan to book every time I visit from Seattle. Thank you Ali & Brian! You thought of everything!
