Fine-ish

Booked a king size bed but ended up with a small double which wasnt great...only realised after the stay. Room was dated but a good size. Standard hotel for a standard price.

The staff and catering ranked well. But there were a few downsides: (a) we booked this hotel in particular to use the pool and sauna, but both were shut for the duration of our visit (b) the location was far out of town, by a garden centre. Not ideal for a day's sightseeing in town. (c) whilst the evening meals were high quality - our compliments to the chef - the breakfast was rather ordinary.

Very tired decoration, clean and comfy bed shower/bath very grubby, taps moved when turning the on and off. Chipped cups lots of traffic noise had to use earplugs.
