The staff were lovely and the room was decent; the surrounding area is on the edge of Ljubjana it felt, but still easily walkable to the bus station and to the city centre. There are two lovely Bosnian resturants next door and nearby we visited and a Aldi/Hofer supermarket too. It was very affordable and the breakfast was the lovely adition. I would definately recommend this hotel, but there are a couple of improvements I hope they can make before your stay:
Unfortunately there was what looked like a coffee stain on the duvet cover what I'm not sure how it would have got there considering there was no kettle in the room; and there was a blue stain on the towels, otherwise the room was clean.
Unfortunately on the last two nights the airconditioning remotes were taken away as it was no longer considered "hot" that time of year, despite our room still being very hot and stuffy so we had to keep the window open constantly including when we were out in the day and at night to little avail; this meant at night we heard all of the traffic outside our room (including the many ambulances as it's right next to the hospital), mopeds starting up and trolleys being wheels across the paving stones; I can't say we got much sleep on those two nights which is unfortunate as otherwise I could have rated it more highly.
