Disappointed in the the quality

The rooms were really beat up. Many reviews said it had been remodeled but that was not true. My room was very damp (carpet was sticky). It took a day to dry it out. I think it is fine for the price but the reviews do not match what you get! The grounds are nice and the patio/restaurant were nice. The staff were nice.

It is okay. Location is good, grounds are fine. Rooms on 4th floor are too far from the front door. Entering and exit take way too long. Staff are good. Rooms are okay. But just do away with the 4th floor.

The property is beautiful with outdoor seating and beautiful landscaping. I found the room to be comfortable and clean. The carpet and some of the stairways needed repairs/replacement and access to the rooms could have been more clear - I found myself confused/a bit lost more than once. Overall ok stay, would stay again if in the area.

Lovely staff but….terribly uncomfortable room :(

Service and check in was fabulous. So I’m reluctant to give the place such a poor rating. Additionally, the property itself outside was gorgeous and well maintained. But the room itself was quite uncomfortable. The air conditioning ran very poorly, the room felt a bit damp and humid (perhaps even a bit musty smelling) and the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. Also bathroom sink drained very slowly and shower water temperature was outrageously hot. We both had to shower very quick as it remained so warm it was uncomfortable, even as it’s almost lowest cold setting. One of the least comfortable hotel stays both myself and my husband have experienced in some time. Sadly, I would not return due to the complete lack of comfort of the room.

Peaceful getaway gem

Beautiful grounds, peaceful and away from the noise of the city. Beds were comfortable, clean and room had everything we needed. There's an on-site restaurant but did not try. Price was very reasonable. Second stay at this beautiful place.

I had a great sleep. For being in a big city, this place is so quiet. Nice green space all around the property. Close to hospital (st Joe’s) which was the purpose of my stay. Close to Masonville mall and restaurants. Beautiful place
