Helen was a lovely host and the house was beautifully set up for Bed & Breakfast stays. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The room was private and quiet. Breakfast was just what we wanted and the ensuite was so convenient.

Sound spot

Great stay at Abbey B&B. Hosts excellent and accomodated me with my booking error. Room/bathroom spotless and beds comfy. Peaceful considering it's proximity to the city centre. Tasty breakfast served with a smile. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Derry

This is a great location - walking distance to City Centre. We were there in mid-January when there were no other guests, but Seamus communicated with us in advance so we knew how to reach him when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful. His wife Cathy made us a custom breakfast the next day and let us keep our luggage there while we toured Derry.

Property manager wasn’t even on site when I arrived. Lights off. Doors locked. Place didn’t even look like it was in business. No note on the door or pre instructions in case this happened. Tried calling and texting the number provided with no response. After 2 hours, the property manager finally responded. Too bad at that time I found a new hotel with excellent customer service.

Good location - easy walk into town. Easy parking. Host had good local recommendations when asked. Shouldn’t really be called a B & B when breakfast is an additional charge though - it is simply a bedroom with en suite in a home.

Decent B&B with good location and great breakfast

Older building so a bit cold and damp. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Street parking only but we walked everywhere so only parked once.

A+++ Stay. Wonderful hosts, excellent location, large clean room, quiet location and amazing breakfast. Parking directly out front on the street. Very clean room and bathroom. The property is close/walkable to sites that Derry is famous for, e.g. the Walled City area, the murals, the Derry Girl mural, Derry Clock Tower, the St. Eugene Catholic Cathedral, the Peace Bridge over the Foyle River. Irish Breakfast offered big portions to finish. Hosts, especially Seamus, were too friendly.

Way too expensive for the service you get. No one at the reception, the room was clean but the dining room where we had breakfast was not. If I had paid half of what I paid I would have given 5 star.
