Its right next to the venice beach, there is good and bad to it. Neighborhood feels a little sketchy, esp at night. Also, loud music plays somewhere till like mid night, so if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. But otherwise, if you want to have quick beach access and night life, this is the place for you.

The hotel has a very popular and busy rooftop bar; however, there is only one elevator for hotel guest, and those visiting the rooftop so it can be very slow. I was disappointed we weren’t offered any VIP perks. The front desk staff, the maids and the breakfast staff were all wonderful.

We did not have a great stay at this hotel. Valet did not greet or speak to us when we pulled up. Got all our bags ourself and had to approach the valet stand for them to even look up at us. After that, we went to check in and the people at the check in desk stared at us waiting, then continued to speak amongst themself until helping us minutes later. The gentleman checking us in was extremely rude. We both felt like he at one point noticed our shocked and upset facial expressions/ our communication back to him and tried to act nicer after. But it was extremely unprofessional and straight up uncomfortable. The property itself is nice and close to everything but I definitely would not stay again and wish we stayed somewhere else. Extremely weird and unpleasant experience with the staff here. Not usually a picky or bothered person but this was not a good experience.
