It was my daughters’ and I first trip to California from Texas. We were nervous as we had never been here before. The hotel was easily accessible, parking was easy to find and get to and plenty of options, front desk was fantastic and smooth, and the hotel itself was wonderful! Our room was spotless clean, the bed was super comfortable, no strange smells and everything worked great. The pool is heated and my girls were so excited about that, and the hot tub felt great. We loved the outdoor area with the cornhole, as well. The hotel itself was extremely quiet, we never had a noise complaint whatsoever. The area was calm compared to LA and easy to get around. Blocks from the beach and easy to get to/park at! The beach itself was very nice and clean, not crowded at all. We will be staying at this hotel every time we come back to LA!

Clean, quiet, beautiful view of the Ocean with a friendly and helpful staff. Short mile or so walk to Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach in a safe neighborhood. Very convenient parking garage under the hotel that seems safe and secure. I travel to SoCal every month or so and always stay at the Hotel Hermosa. I get a room with fillable whirlpool-tub and relax my back after a long day on the road. Then a walk to one of the many excellent restaurants on the way to the beach. Always enjoy watching the sunset from the expansive outdoor patio complete with lounging chairs and two pool tables. Definately recommend the smoothies and coffee from the small cafe in the lobby. Can’t say enough good things about this Hotel. Location and vibe are just right.

The hotel was had a facelift. My recommendation is that they add some lighting and maybe remove the dark carpeting. Also change the filters in the air conditioner would be helpful. Alejandra was very helpful and sweet facilitating our check in. Location was great for our stay since the family we were visiting lives just 1 block down. But it’s a ways to the beach and local spots.
