This hotel is very old and ran down, the bed we had was terrible sad face, I would say this is amazing property for the price and location! Just dont expect it to be above and beyond just because its close to the beach. I wouldnt stay here again i would definalty pay high prices to be comfortable if your here for a night and just need to sleep and shower its perfect. It was quite! Which i appreciated.

If you just need a place, that's dry to sleep for

No one was at the front counter when I walked in, I waited about 10 minutes to see if anybody would show up. Then I called the hotel to see if anyone would answer and they did of course told him I've been waiting at the front. The whole place smelled like bleach or some sort of cleaner. While the room was clean, the bed was very cheap not as comfortable as most. The base of the bed was covered in some sort of thin tin going around the complete bed frame and it made a loud noise every time you bumped your foot into it Like a big gong! One of the cheapest places I've been to in LA area. But it did serve a purpose for me to just get some sleep and leave early in the morning.

Very overpowering artificial cleaning product smell in the room (could give one a headache if they are sensitive to smells like myself). Very noisy hotel with thin walls and poorly insulated doors, fluorescent white lighting in room, chipping paint on walls and ceilings. View out of our window was a narrow alleyway with discarded mattresses. Metal bed base that makes very loud noises when you bump into them. Check in and out was easy. Free parking was convenient. Pool was closing soon after we arrived so we didn’t get to try it.
