The staff were nice and friendly. However, there were insects on the balcony, which made it unusable in the evening. We also saw many cockroaches while walking around the property and even in open-air restaurants like Tazuni, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, we spent a lot of time waiting for golf carts to get around the resort. Food service by the pool was extremely slow, taking at least an hour to be delivered, although the drinks were fine. We visited during the off-season, which makes me wonder how the resort manages crowds during the busy months.

The resort is gorgeous. The grounds are pretty well kept, the pools are pristine (albeit a bit cold), and the views are immaculate. The food seems to be a bit of a downturn from when we last stayed, so hopefully there will be some improvement there. Service was alright for the most part -- hard to get service at pools, but good at restaursnts, etc...

Room and view were excellent. It's a hassle to get around resort. It's on hillside so getting around requires small golf carts. Sometimes it took up to 15 minutes for a cart to come by.

For the maintenance fee that is charged for the owners of this property, in my opinion there should not be any lights that are out in the walkways, or fountains not working. The room should not have clogged drains or broken fixtures either. For $700 a year per owner, there should be ample funds for those repairs to be made.

Beautiful property and great food. The ability to go between resorts blanco and rose to swim at the beach was a nice touch. However, the service does not match the price point. I’ve stayed at other 5-star all-inclusive resorts where service truly elevates the experience, and that wasn’t the case. At check-in, the room we were given had not been cleaned. When I called the front desk to resolve it, the operator transferred me, I waited on hold for a long time, and then the call was disconnected. This forced us to travel back to the lobby with all our luggage, this was no small task given the size of the property and reliance on golf carts to get across. We were eventually moved and offered a $50 credit. There were also service inconsistencies during dining. At the Market, we were seated in the same server’s section twice. First, briefly to watch the end of a game, then again about an hour later for dinner. Despite us being seated with food for over 30 minutes, the server never approached us for drinks, even while repeatedly passing our table. We had to flag him down. Also, when I called about late checkout and was simply confirming details, the agent cut me off mid-sentence with “It’s a pleasure,” and hung up. Lastly, the all-inclusive package does not cover every menu item or restaurant.

Sunset Beach's setting is beautiful and removed from the hustle of the main town. Because the building blocks were set up on a hill, each room has an amazing view of the ocean. You can easily call a golf cart to get around the hilly resort but walking up and down the stairs or cobbled paths also allowed you to have the extra food or a drink by the pool. The free shuttle buses allowed an easy travel into town to the other sister resorts, but you need to book the time early on the app, otherwise you might have to wait, so it does require some planning. Our room was spacious and clean but the bathroom was showing its age but functional. Food was good with lots of different options, worth the price of all inclusive. You can't swim on the beautiful sandy beach but the pools did make up for it, with friendly attentive staff looking after you. If we go back to Cabo, we will definitely return to this resort.

We had an amazing stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. The resort is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, great dining options, and plenty of activities to enjoy. Everything felt safe, clean, and well-managed. The golf cart transportation was a great convenience, and Mauro was one of the drivers who made it simple and enjoyable to get around. Leonardo was also a huge help with our check out process and even offered to take one last picture for us. We loved everything about this resort and can’t wait to be back.
