Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and kind. My son was in norton hospital so was close to hospital and they allowed me to add a night at a time to my stay until we were ready to take him home. If I ever have to be here again I will definitely be staying here. Thanks again to they staff for being so wonderful

Expected more for the price

No hair dryers or body lotion in the room. I knew from the pictures before I booked it was outdated, but much worse in person. Breakfast options were good.

Great location for a business conference at the KICC. Most everything was good, but with staying 4 nights, we constantly had to ask for fresh towels and washcloths, and to have the garbage emptied. And it was never handled promptly, if at all. That was pretty disappointing.

Front desk staff barely around. Parking- you pay for parking, but the parking garage was always full. Was told had to go out on street and park and repay. Mattress was awful! Coffee was empty. We always try to leave positive feedback, but this was not a pleasant stay.

The access to downtown Louisville was great. It was easy on and off the highway and walking distance to great places. For the first time stay in downtown, I really enjoyed the Fairfield. It appeared to have a great pool and gym. The breakfast was comfortable with a great choice of foods. The service was even better. Check in was simple and very friendly even though I arrived late due to bad weather. The only thing I had a problem with is that at three am two nights in a row I woke up to a freezing room. I woke up with a sore throat and ears the first day. I never got to use the pool which was the main reason I booked the hotel. The second night I stripped the blankets off the second bed which helped. It was below freezing outside. I went home early.
