Such wonderful and helpful Reception/Reservation staff! Well appointed, spacious and clean room The in-room spa bath was amazing. Felt very safe (as a solo female traveller in this instance) at the hotel. Many facilities at the hotel (ran out of time to try them all). Buffet breakfast was delicious and a highlight of my stay. Will definitely be staying here again.

Okay i am going to be honest and hopefully this review will benefit all, if the Rydges management are watching. We stayed two nights in one of villas as a couple. Overall we had a great stay however i will go into more detail. Pros All staff were excellent with special mention to check-in, concierge, and to the Chefs at Redsalt, Rydges fine dining restaurant, our meals were very good however our waiter was excellent and made our experience. The accommodation was good with a good layout, space and reasonably modern large bathroom. Parking was at the door and easy. Cons TV wifi didnt work and needs to be sorted out. Talking to staff, apparently a resort-wide issue. Not good enough! Bed was a king however the mattress needs replacing as it was well used and uncomfortable. Get some decent 3 ply toilet tissue. A bottle of wine and some chocolates should also be standard. It's a wine region. I'm sure there's a local winery keen to do a deal, or maybe a different winery each month. Honestly, the staff got you to four stars. Make the other improvements and you'll get five.

Got upgraded from 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom villa. Rooms very dated and tired. Carpet and furniture marked and stained. Fit out is very tired. TVs dated with a pay per view system from the 90s. The rest of resort was ok staff were great and food was also good.

Our Stat was fantastic. Only thing I would like to change is the pillows, there were huge but extra soft so no neck support. rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Good stay in all regards. Middle of the Hunter valley wineries, has lots of things to do inside the resort as well as around the valley. Good family and children activities. Very good golf course. Unfortunately the bed was well under par which was a shame.

Poor housekeeping, didn't vacuum the room, didn't restock tea/coffee/toiletries. Hotels corridors had lots of dirty trays with glasses, looked untidy. I had a hay fever, because the room hasn't been vacuumed. The pool wasn't heated, and all kids were jumping into the spa. The breakfast was very good.

Rooms needs renovation ie: carpates, bathroom, bed was so uncomfortable, bathrooms have moulds and rust.No wifi password provided if you call few times and request then only you will get. No house keeping . Fridge wasn’t working after request somebody came and checked the room without letting us know and later changed after few hours. Didn’t enjoy at all, not recommended.
