What a gem!

An amazing experience from start to finish! The location was perfect—close to all the main attractions yet nestled in a charming neighborhood vibe, surrounded by great restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops. The hotel itself is fairly new, beautifully designed, tidy, and impeccably clean. The service was outstanding, and I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and warm welcome

The service is excellent!!! Hotel is extremely clean including the walls in the bathroom which can often get neglected. That they and hard to get the areas such as cubicles and the chests. I also didn’t expect them to speak English when I was struggling and they were very very kind about that. I had a superior room with a balcony and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Rooms facing the street are wonderful just be prepared to hear the regular sounds of the street such as garbage collection and loud people from time to time…. I mean it’s a city. This hotel is located in a beautiful part of the city and extremely easy to walk to such as Madrid Centro, plaza mayor, the marketplace and more. Special special thanks to Pablo & Barbara. Superior service and both went above and beyond

As we are on the edge of elderly, we now find the giant step in and out of the shower not a particularly good option. All of the other hotels we stayed in had walk-in showers. The breakfasts were very good with a few good gluten-free options.

Fabulous hotel in the middle of everything

We stayed at Room Mate Alba for 3 nights for a quick family trip to Madrid. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is perfectly centrally located within 15-20 minutes walking to the Prado, the Reina Sofia, Plaza Major and the Palacio Real, and is surrounded by a ton of great restaurants and shops. It's the perfect place to stay for a Madrid getaway and if/when we return we will definitely be staying there again!

We had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The service at the front desk was very helpful. We stayed in the attic room which gave the room even more of a cosy feel. We didn’t have the breakfast so we cannot comment on that. The only complaint we had was that the lift had a bad smell during our stay. I think the carpet needs replacing. Overall we really love the aesthetics of the room and hotel. It was in a very good location with lots of halal food options nearby — being Muslim this was great. Some lovely cafes and breakfast options within a 5 minute walk. El Retiro Parque and Royal Palace were also within walking distance, which made it really convenient.
