Look, the property was convenient as Te-Anu was overpriced for accommodation but the joint needs a lot of TLC. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly but it needs a bit of money spent on the exterior.

A million dollar view at a reasonable price. Less touristy than Te Anau. Comfortable room and bed. Convenient for travelling to both Doubtful and Milford Sound.

The room itself was ok. Needs some updating. Communal kitchen needs an overhaul. Bed was comfy. More facilities in room would be better than communal facilities. Linen and towels were clean. Security of windows was poor and needs addressing. Overall we had a positive stay. Found Te Anau super expensive this was a good budget option.

Inside the unit beds bedding etc was all new and excellent. The buildiing itself is quite old and is being done up so bathroom was well used but everything worked satisactorily and the bedroom was excellent as was the view from the rooms.

We booked for 2 nights. This was a good location to visit Milford Sound but have a room within easy driving time. Our room had the most amazing view overlooking a lake and mountains. 15 minutes to Te Anau where there were plenty of eating choices.

Very run down but outstanding views of the lake. Rooms and bathrooms were as clean as they could be for a property in that condition. The pictures on Expedia do not reflect the real condition of the property.

The whole complex was very old and tired and our room had paper peeling off walls. The handbasin was in the bedroom. The advertised bar and restaurant was closed. The walls were thin and next inits noisy.
