Queued for our breakfast in the hotel lobby for over an hour, minimal food on offer, staff unplugged waffle machines, coffee machines, etc, as "breakfast had finished" despite us queueing for an hour.
Back half of the breakfast queue, the queue went into the serving area and around the corner.

Room had a big stain in the middle of the carpet and hair on the bed. Breakfast was unbearably busy. Not a pleasant experience at all. We gave up and went down the road to buy breakfast elsewhere (despite it being included in our rate). Queue went though the restaurant meaning people were stood by others eating. Staff were all fantastic though, very polite and courteous.

Clean hotel from top to bottom, room was great, temperature spot on, comfy bed & pillows, towels all clean & all amenities you need. Bar was open really late which was nice & allowed us to chill after our gig before going to bed. Only issue was car park, it was a nightmare to get to due to road works/closures & when we did find it no one answered the buzzer

Room was standard for a hotel, nothing luxurious. It was very noisy overnight, and in the morning with builders directly outside the window. Didnt have a great sleep. Breakfast was nice.

We arrived at the property at 1pm to drop our bags off (i rang before hand to check this was ok ) There were two members of staff behind the counter, non of them look up , I asked politely if we could leave our bags and the young man was rude and just threw a ticket at us, no words . When we checked in , the lady on reception was so hostile and really needs to work on her welcome manner , she then said breakfast would be busy in the morning , I asked what time we should come down and she didn’t answer I asked to book , not an option , it was like she was saying don’t bother ! The room was ok , very hot , air con didn’t really work , paid for a city view of roadworks that where very noisy to ! Would not stay again

Bed was too close to the wall. Not enough fruit choice. No porridge option. Coffee machine wasn't very good. Tables were small Not enough room to put the dishes that you used. Staff wasn't very friendly. The high price for hotel wasn't worth it

Not many staff especially at breakfast which was a full on distaster. Queued for 45 minutes as no food left and when it was repleished slowly one item at a time with 5 minutes between each item coming out it was poor quality ingredients. Croissants and pastries had ran out mid way through service and not replenished at all. Staff did not seem to care. Stained duvet cover. We were placed in a room with disabled facilities so the shower difficult to access for non disbled people due to pull down showerbseat and low shower which was also spoilt with water only a little warm. Overall expected great things for £240 a night, we would of had a better night in Travelodge. Toilet holder not secure. 2 coffee sachets, 1 teabag and 2 sugars in the room with no spoons. Not sure how we were supposed to stir drinks.
