It’s alright, nothing interesting is going on in that area, small town vibe with a few places to eat and shop. Definitely overrated place for vacation.

We enjoyed our one-night stay. Not having a front desk is obviously different and there is some downside to that. When you're traveling, its a hassle to be asked to upload a picture of your driver's license, a photo of your face and fill out electronic forms on your phone, including credit card info and the three digit CVV. For me, it raises major privacy concerns. If anything weird happens in the next few months, this hotel will be my first guess as to where my private information was stolen. Having said that - once you get past the hoops you have to jump through, everything else is easy. The text for your access code comes right before check-in time. God forbid your cell phone fails you. If that happens you'll be sleeping in your car. I'm only kidding somewhat. The property itself is in very good shape. Parking is free. The room was nice and clean. There's even a game room in the main building, but it closes at 10 pm. I was able to play the old Ms Pac Man video game for free, so that was a nice touch. The pool (outside) was tiny and disappointing. Manson had a pulse, not nearly as active as Chelan, down at the end of the lake, but the Manson grocery store was modern and convenient, with good hours. The wine and coffee place in "downtown" Manson was excellent. There were a few restaurants nearby but not a lot of later dining. There are a lot of homes and housing complexes all along the lake from Manson to Chelan (8 miles).

The Lodge was a nice quiet and clean hotel that we stayed at for two nights right in downtown Manson. We were in town for a wedding in Lake Chelan and it was a great spot to stay that was about 10 minutes from downtown Chelan and then 20 minutes away from some of the bigger wineries across the lake.

I had intended to stay only 1 night but I ended up staying 4 nights as I was pleased with the location and the great economical rate on the room. Easy walking distance to the lake and to restaurants. Hotel was clean and had a nice deck to sit on.
