Getting to and Around Mestre

Many Mestre holidays begin with a flight into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), which is just 10km north of the neighbourhood. When your plane touches down, making a beeline to Mestre hotels is easier than finding a spoonful of gelato. You can hop a train, bus, land taxi or water taxi to Mestre.

Once you’re in the neighbourhood, the easiest way to get around is on your own two feet. Water buses can be pricy, but hey, you’re on holiday—live a little.
