If you’re looking for a place that’s close to everything, this is a great option. However, I recommend avoiding the lower floors near the elevators if you’re hoping to get good rest, as you can hear traffic noise from outside. I stayed on the 16th floor and noticed this, but the rooms I reserved on the 21st floor were excellent and much quieter.
The hotel has great taxi drivers—they’re friendly, take you wherever you want to go, and will even wait for you if needed, which was very convenient.
Upon arrival, the first woman who checked me in was very kind and helpful. However, the next day when checking in for additional rooms, the front desk staff were unhelpful and quite rude. I overheard one mention it was because she hadn’t had a break yet. While it was Halloween weekend and likely a very busy time, guests should not have to endure attitudes or eye-rolling during check-in, as it comes across as unprofessional.
That said, the rooms were clean, and the outdoor and concierge staff were wonderful. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the check-in experience can vary depending on the staff member assisting you.
