We really enjoyed our stay at this charming historic hotel. The location is ideal, full of character and close to great spots, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. A highlight was the complimentary tour of the hotel, which included fascinating stories about notable historical guests. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the drinks at the lobby bar—especially those with tamarind—were top notch. However, for the price we were surprised the hotel didn’t provide hair conditioner or full-size shampoo or at least a refill of it. When we requested room cleaning midway through our stay, the result was disappointing: beds were barely made, and pillows were left on the floor. Overall, a memorable stay thanks to the ambiance, location, and hospitality, but with some room for improvement in housekeeping and amenities.

This was a perfect hotel for our first trip to Mexico City. It was conveniently located within walking distance to many sites and attractions. The hotel is very charming old Mexico, however, much of the furniture needs to be replaced as it is worn and very dated. We had a Jr. Suite in the middle of the hotel and the room was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable except for the carved wooden headboard. The in-house restaurant, Buenos Dios, was a great spot to start our day.

The hotel is full of history and overall very nice. Upon arrival we noticed a strong smell of cigarette in the room. We called the front desk who indicated that the hotel was non-smoking and therefore, the smell was not of cigarette. The unpleasant smell in the room didn't go away during our 4-day stay. One day before checking out, we noticed that there was cigarette ash on the windows. We also found a bunch of cigarette stubs on the ground outside of the window. We reported this issue twice again and showed the pictures to the front desk staff. I believe the hotel could take additional care with regards to people smoking inside the rooms.

The Geneve hotel in Mexico City provided a safe and comfortable place to stay during our travel there. This is a place with history and the staff was always there to help with our questions. The property has several restaurants and a nice bar with live music. Hotel Geneve is located in a great neighborhood with many businesses to shop around. I recommend this hotel, and I will book again in the future.

The hotel was a little worn out I think because it gave me the older room. It was a little creepy. It was also missing the iron which I needed conditioner because I ran out from my previous trip. The staff wasn’t so welcoming They just gave us a room key and that’s all. Didn’t even provide details about their services.

The attraction is the hotel and lobby, loved it. The room, it could be upgraded a bit but didn't deter from my stay. AC worked great, glad the floor was wood and not carpet.

The property is very well maintained and conveniently located. Was less enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet and restaurant offerings, which were expensive for the few options available. The bathroom toilet was crazy awkward as well. It was only a couple inches from the bathtub and very hard to use. A big disappointment and not accessible at all.
