all of the above. Zindy, the front desk concierge was very helpful and pleasant. the location and proximity to the Cathedral, Museums, stores, flea market and restaurants is so convenient. the breakfast is very good and the staff very nice. there was an ample supply of water for the guests. we had a great experience with Zocalo Central and Rooftop Hotel.

The Zocalo staff were fabulous! Karina at the front desk made us feel very welcomed and valued. Jose was as kind and helpful as could be and Guafalupe did an excellent job on our room. limited choices and not so good menu selection, staff a little slow for small things such as salt, pepper, toasted bread extra coffee, juice, coffee too cold and even asking staff nicely to please reheat, still they bring it cold, asking simple changes on the plate the staff do not understand even in Spanish. Seems like they need more experienced personnel for their restaurant even though the staff is a lot, they talk too much with each other instead of taking care of the customers promptly. For instance, they bring the main plate, but take too long to bring the rest, so the food gets cold.
