I am motivated to write this review in response to the numerous negative reviews about this hotel, which I found to be outstanding. One of its major advantages is its close proximity to Lummus beach, located just two blocks away. The staff's exceptional kindness, understanding, and provision of beach towels as part of the resort fee were impressive, although umbrellas were not included. The pool and elevator, while somewhat smaller, were fully operational. The rooms were extremely clean, with daily room service available, unless otherwise requested. Although the breakfast options may have been slightly limited, the overall quality was excellent, served from 8-11 am ET. Additionally, the hotel's location, with numerous restaurants and stores nearby, was highly convenient. I would certainly stay here at this hotel again, if visiting south beach.

Family rooms – beach holiday!

I recently stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved it. The clean and funky foyer invites you in, setting the tone for a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our room was large and featured a separate sitting area, providing plenty of space to relax. There were lots of cupboards to hide away our belongings, which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic, with a very short walk to South Beach and all the excitement it brings. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We booked this hotel looking at good reviews and location. We were told we got upgraded when we checked in, however it was a very basic room with a lot of furniture. We had no room to put our luggage down. There were not enough power outlets to charge our devices. The air conditioning was very noisy, and there was an ice machine outside the door which kept making noises every few minutes. We discovered the worst part when we lay down to sleep and noticed the bed was broken in the middle of one side! Next morning I called the staff and showed it to them, and they agreed the bed was broken but did nothing about it. The overall experience was so bad that we plan to reach out to expedia for a full refund.

The hotel may be a good fit for college or university kids but travelling with kids or on your own where sleeping over night is the goal, this is not a good fit. The lobby was super loud up to 3 a.m. and the walls are extremely thin. Also if you're looking for a pool, I would not say that the pool at this hotel is true to the photographs online. It's the size of 4-5 beach chairs long and about 5 feet wide. Hardly what I would call a pool for a hotel charging the rates that it is.

I wish the bathrooms had a more solid door instead of doors with slats. The hot water to the bathroom sink was broken, and having hand towels and wash cloths would have been nice. The glass cups for use in the bathroom on a tiny sink space seemed like it would be a safety issue. The staff were friendly and kind. The daily happy hour was a nice touch.
