Great hotel, comfortable room, loved the pool and the overall vibe. I would say the drinks were very expensive as was the restaurant and pool snacks, the quality was fine but you should be aware of the exorbitant prices. We paid more for the food and drinks than we did for the hotel room for one night.

Cabana room - amazing. Clean and quiet. Right off long pool for great views anytime you sit on balcony. Staff - everyone friendly and attentive. We didn’t go without at any time. Food and Drinks - we dined at beach, pool, bar, and restaurant. All outstanding. Drinks on point. Location - perfectly situated on the beach. A short walk to Lincoln Rd and Ocean Drive. Lots of places within walking distance to enjoy coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What I loved: pool area outside, beach chairs/umbrellas, great decor, comfortable beds, hot shower water that didn’t run out, laminate floors in hotel rooms, great massage/facial time offering and the location is just perfect. What it lacked: bring your earplugs because the walls are thin, gym is quite small. Overall I think this hotel is well priced and feels boutique-y and cozy but offers a lot!

I have stayed here many times through the years. It’s been about 5 years and things have really gone down hill. Food is terrible, rooms were ok but last day the fire alarm went off for a “test” for over an hour after going off night before. I know these things happen but there no information and the staff could not have been more dismissive about the situation. Plenty of other options in Miami!

This is a comfortable old world hotel with a boutique vibe. The front desk staff are helpful and attentive. A small restaurant has a good menu with hit or miss wait staff. The rooms and bathrooms are smaller but decorated nicely. The main pool is luxurious with a second pool and beach cabana with access to the beach. The only negative is that it is next door to the Sagamore Hotel. It is a loud party hotel that blasts house music so loudly that it is uncomfortable to dine or lounge outside after 8:00. The “music” stops around midnight.

One of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed at. The history and charm of this hotel is unmatched. Excellent service all-around, too, especially in the pool & bar area. And the rooms had so much art/character in them. Would definitely recommend.

The property and staff are great. The front desk did however give a key to the wrong person which led to someone else trying to come into our room at midnight. After this security then came up later and asked us to give our names etc. the room we were in made a noise every time someone used the elevator.
