Looked like blood splattered on the wall of bathroom and some garbage next to bed. It appeared the room was cleaned very quickly. However, the beds were comfortable and clean. Very young children (under 6) spent hours splashing in the hot tub (one almost drowned) while parents drank and did back flips into the pool. Said children were then racing down the hallway at 11:00 pm. Loud hallway conversations and slamming doors continued into the night.

Maybe 20 years ago, the hotel was quite grand, but it hasn’t been update in years. While the rooms were clean, everything just feels rather old and dated. The rooms, the wall texture, the old bathtub and bath valves all feel like something out of the 90’s. The breakfast was decent with quite a variety of options. This was perhaps one of the best features of the hotel. Probably one of the other major perks of the hotel was the location. The hotel is near all kinds of food options and shopping. In regards to the amenities, the pool and hot tub felt old and in need of updating as well. The tile around the pool was so slick, my wife slipped and put a tooth through her upper lip. Finally, some family members of the hotel staff seemed to be occupying the property, and at times, it felt like a senior center, rather than a hotel.

The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, and the carpet and walls had stains. The bed was also very stiff. Otherwise the staff was friendly.
