I didn’t realize that the pool was located in the main courtyard of the lobby. The whole building smelled like chlorine, our beds felt damp, and we noticed many spots where the paint was peeling.

There is a problem with the free breakfast thing. The purchase said it was included, but when I tried to pay for the room it was an additional $14 upcharge, per person. If you don't pay the extra then the meal is $28 for a strangely varied meal-boxed scrambled eggs, decent bacon, excellent coffee and nice waffles and pastries... Not a $28 meal, even in Minneapolis. Not sure what went wrong with the "free breakfast", I was too tired to argue about it.
