Historic hotel with the friendliest check-in and concierge staff you could ever hope for! We arrived early and were able to get a room without any fuss. Valet and checkout were also seamless.

This property is situated in an excellent location in the Mount Pleasant area. If you have a car, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, Shems creek are all within a 5-15 minute drive. There is a shuttle that will drop you off in downtown Charleston for a day in the city. The property was fairly clean overall, but certain things are very dated. It could use a “freshen “ up in some areas. The outdoor areas were really enjoyable! Nice clean pools and fireplaces right on the water. Due to the excellent location I would definitely stay again! But a little sprucing up would really take this hotel to the next level!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was extremely clean, very modern, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were huge and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water, which made relaxing after a long day even better. The hotel had everything to offer! Pool, fitness center, laundry room, restaurant/bar, etc. We also loved the complimentary coffee bar in the mornings and the ample seating throughout the lobby area. Most importantly, the staff was so friendly and welcoming during our entire stay. Very happy with our experience and will absolutely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly The views were amazing and the property was very well maintained. Loved having the fireplace in the room. The rooms were very spacious.
