The breakfast bar has a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, assorted, yogurts, wonderful pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, frittata, and a wide variety of cheese and breakfast meats

Fantastic rooms with balconies overlooking the main street in Palermo. The room and facilites were very clean, coffee, tea and pastries offered complimentry in a communal area. If driving into the city a permit is required for the ZTL Zone, this was arranged free of charge by the hotel. Street parking in blue bays only €1 per hour, free 8pm - 8am and free 2pm - 4pm if a parking spot is available, we got lucky and parked directly below the property for 3 days. Parking garages located nearby too, if you're not as fortunate with the street parking. I would highly recommend this accommodation, we had a fabulous stay here, thoroughly enjoyed it. Was best location, clean and view was amazing

We stayed for four nights at the Palazzo Sant Agostino, which is centrally located in the Capo market area. Like much of Palermo, it is a very characterful (shabby-chic) building. Our first night was in Room 7 which is downstairs in the garden area - which was a bit dark and got quite noisy in the morning (as it is underneath where breakfast is served). However the staff kindly moved us to Room 3 on the first floor which was more comfortable. The staff were super helpful overall, providing advice on what to do/see in Palermo.

Location was excellent - close to major sites, restaurants, shops, and about a 10 minute walk to train station. The property manager, Alyn, was very responsive, kind, and helpful. No front desk but communication via WhatsApp went well. Breakfast staff was nice too. Breakfast was very good - enough options to start the day with the option to have breakfast in your room or in communal area. You choose breakfast options the night before and leave the information outside the door. Note about the standard double room: bathroom privacy is not optimal. Bathroom door is a sliding door. Shower can be seen from the rest of the room as shower is separated by smoke color glass. One can slide bathroom door over to cover shower window, but that leaves rest of bathroom partly exposed. Possible consideration if you are sharing room with someone you do not know too well or are not very close to. There are no lifts, and there are quite a few stairs. Going up and down and even taking a moderately heavy carry on can exert a lot of energy, especially if there are mobility issues. Also, only had one room key card so had to coordinate entry into room if we split up for a while. All in all, great stay and would likely stay here again (probably in a different room) as long as we do not have mobility issues.
