The entertainment and the food were good. Great selection of dishes and multiple activities to choose from. I had to ask for the room upgrade and the champagne that was part of the VIP perk was not fulfilled. The sauna in the spa was under construction; however there was no notice or announcement on the website. Once my wristband was taken off, I requested for assistance to call my support car service at the guest experience desk a few minutes later, the employee did not care to help as I was already checked out. It would have been an overall great experience until one employee decided to be subpar at the end.

When i was here i felt like i left my crazy world and came to heaven where all of the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everything from the food and drinks it was all so good . I highly recommend like try to book the Adult only side cause it’s just so much more peaceful and a bit of less crowded compared to the grand side. And with the adult side you can also enjoy the grand side as well with the food as well and drinks are soo good

Disappointed Stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience at Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay left us incredibly disappointed. Check-In & Room Issues: Upon arrival, it took over two hours to get our room ready because staff repeatedly had to find a supervisor to approve it. Unfortunately, the room was far from acceptable once we got in—roaches by the entryway, no blanket on the bed, and sheets that were paper-thin. We had to search the closet for a barely adequate blanket and repeatedly request more than two washcloths each day. One of the most concerning issues was getting locked in the bathroom for 10 minutes because the doorknob was missing. The toilet door was also broken and wouldn’t close properly—my husband had to fix it himself. Amenities: Electrical outlets were limited, the TV was very small, and the screen quality was beyond poor—blurry and outdated. This room was not what you expect from a “Luxury” resort. I requested to be moved, but was told there were no other rooms available. Staff & Service: The front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive, and follow-up on concerns was nonexistent. Even after explaining everything during a guest survey, we were told a manager would reach out. That never happened. The workers from the Privilege Club were extremely pushy and misleading. They aggressively promoted a “free massage” without disclosing the catch—attending a 90-minute presentation—and were rude.

Our recent stay at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, was absolutely beautiful. The resort is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the airport. We booked round-trip transportation in advance, and the service was smooth and reliable. The resort itself is breathtaking. The grounds are immaculately kept—huge kudos to the landscaping and maintenance crew. The food and drinks were fantastic! We especially loved the different outdoor food stations scattered throughout the property—ice cream, smoothies, and grilling stations made it fun and super convenient for guests to grab a bite while enjoying the resort. Room cleanliness was just okay. While the basics were covered, the curtains definitely need some attention—they should be washed or treated. That would make a big difference. As for the staff, not everyone was friendly, but there were a few who went out of their way to smile and greet us. The entertainment team, on the other hand, was amazing—especially Crazy Legs! His energy and vibe made the experience extra fun. On our final evening, we had a romantic dinner on the beach, and it was truly special. Holly made the evening unforgettable—she even came to our room to personally escort my husband and me to our beautifully set table on the beach. Overall, the resort has so much to offer and left us with some beautiful memories. With a few small improvements, it could be a perfect getaway spot!

It was our first all inclusive. The good: Lamar!! Crazy Legs! The beach was gorgeous and we were able to snorkel and see lots of different fish and sea life. The buffet food was good and the Brazilian place was amazing!! I wish I would’ve gotten another spot. Pool was fun, clean, and pool volleyball was fun! The not so good: A la Carte restaurants always needed reservations. We would try to go just to see if they had extra room for our group and they wouldn’t, even though the place was empty and remained empty the entire time other group members were eating. The place seemed like it could use some updates. Our A/C didn’t work all the time. The hair dryer only worked if you tapped it on your hand. Staff became disgruntled when we had to use their elevator, when the other 2 were broken down. Speaking of staff, the swim up pool bar on adults side- first group were grumpy and would barely wait on us, we even tipped. The morning bartenders there were not friendly or helpful at all. The second group of bartenders or the ones later in our stay were a million times better. I felt like I had to tip for everything I did. That was a huge downfall. And even if we tipped the service wasn’t any better. Also, no one would walk around and wait on you at pool or beach, you had to go to bar. I did have plenty of food and alcohol for the days we were there and enjoyed the pool and beach. Maybe I was expecting something else. Not really sure, like I said first one.
