The front desk service needs to be reorganized. Too many workers inactive. They huddle. They make promises they don’t keep. They lied about the hotel not having a bar near the toilet. I have stayed in the hotel 2 times. I know thats not true. They have 1 hot elevator! And It broke down. They double charged me. Expedia already charged me that same tax. Many people complained at not having wash cloths. It’s not our fault if they are stolen by others. They gave our group 1 key. We both paid The 1st night they didn’t give our group of 18 people comforters. We all had one sheet. We ALL lost a whole night sleep. Many of towels were gray instead of white. We had trouble getting enough towels.Please use bleach or vinegar. They have a long wait at the counter. Then they tell you to sit in the waiting area for an additional time. Too much wasted time. Find some way remove the aggressive cats from the dining room. They are annoying while eating. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The drinks were good. The food on some days were good. Your staff is not argumentative and appear to be respectful. They seem to be overwhelmed with solving the many issues. One solution is to monitor room cleaning.

Check in was lengthy. Wait for room was long. No towels, ironbathing cloths in the room. Pool side seating chair oillow covers dirty. Lifeguarf was late. Had to wait an hour to fet in the pool. Bathroom not clean. Food was good

They took so long to check us in. We check in at 3:00 PM but instead we had to wait until 5 PM. I have a pregnant girlfriend. It was not professional The safe did not work. We had to keep calling them for room service for towels. I thought it was a all inclusive hotel, but was wrong

I like everything about the property even my grandchildren say they want to come back there BUT the laundry was very poor I get to understand they use outside laundry which is very bad at night and early morning no towels and they say they don’t give wash cloth that is a no no the hot water boiler is always off in the morning only cold water to shower if they fix these situations it can be a great place the towels at bad colour and course they need their own laundry and things will get better a lot of guest was complaining about the same thing the food and environment can be better too..

Short stay convenient

Accommodated the needs for a one day stay. Room was clean. Tv remote was not working, few amenities in the room (ex. Only 2 Bath towels in bathroom)

Food was terrible. Check in is unorganized and a nightmare. They say 3pm however when 3pm comes you have to wait to be “queued” for your room meaning all guest who arrived before you must get their rooms first and so it goes in order. Also they don’t call you when the room is ready although it’s after 3pm as stated, you are expected to just continuously walk up to the front desk and inquire about your room. I reached the hotel at 2pm and didn’t get my room until 4pm since I had to wait for all the people who landed before me to get their room first and even then it was an employee who expedited me because he saw I was agitated and growing impatient. Great view from balcony. Budget friendly. Never returning.

I liked the stay at one, play at two concept. I do believe the Grand Cameron Montego Bay offered a better buffet menu, but I enjoyed my stay. I do wish they had slides or similar amenities especially for the kiddie pool. However, I do think it's an absolutely great experience to be had at Grand Decameron Cornwall!

I stayed here previously and had a great experience—but sadly, I won’t be returning. Despite the staff’s commendable efforts to compensate for management’s failures, the overall experience was unacceptable. Nothing could persuade me to come back. Truly disappointing.
When we did get towels they were sooo dingy looking. I recommend folks to bring their own

This is a great resort for the price. I have stayed multiple times and have liked it enough to return. However, on our most recent visit, the reserved dining had changed. We reserved dinner one night and it was an Asian menu. The food was really really bad. Not sure why they changed their reserved dinner options, it was very good before. The buffet food was consistent and had a good variety each day. Only complaint is the reserved dining options.

I gave this rating due to the check process, towel service in the room, and hotels slow response time. I arrived around 2:45 and the room wasn’t ready until after 5pm. I was traveling with three people total. However only two towels were provided, and it took two days before they left the third.

Not worth the money. Property is not very clean, limited options for dining, and food always the same. Employees treat you with an attitude. Not enough rowels. Loud reaggae blasting at the pool and beach does not allow you to rest. For the same money, go some place else!
