They had a nice restaurant attached Tiramusu. So we didn’t have to even leave the hotel for dinner. Breakfast was ok nothing special. The area around the hotel was tent city. Tons of homeless people that live and sleep on the street. Eating out of garbage cans Very sad and was hard to have a vacation knowing so many homeless . We did bring food for some. The city should really step in and help them.

Hampton Suites is located on the main road (St Laurent) that's about 10mins walking distance from the Palais des arts. The area is safe even if you're outside late at night.

The hotel is really nice but I was quoted 864 dollars for my stay and was billed 967 dollars. When I checked out I was never given a receipt. I tried calling about the bill and was put on hold and then disconnected. Not happy

I booked this hotel based on it's proximity to the old district and Chinatown (food!) and my choice did not disappoint. One of the main gates to the Chinatown district is right outside the lobby, and there is no shortage of great restaurants, bubble tea spots, and gift shops. Old Montreal is an easy 10-15 walk away. The real star of the show had to be the staff I encountered during my stay. All the desk agents- especially Ly- went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Using their text service, i mentioned my pillows were uncomfortable. I came back to my room and found two alternative pillows. They also provided recommendations for places to eat and a day trip outside of the city. The free breakfast each morning made life so much easier and had great options like oatmeal, chia pudding, waffles, eggs, and more. So glad I chose this hotel and would easily recommend!

Property itself is great; service is good, the included breakfast is also pretty nice. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy so one should be careful when wandering around, especially at night. Still a great stay!

Amazing front desk staff, clean and modern looking rooms. I love that there was no carpet. Reasonably priced and great breakfast in the morning. The gym was beautiful, as well as the roof top pool and lounging area. One small issue we had was out of the 4 nights, I only asked for cleaning service once. I specifically asked for changed towels, new sheets and coffee pods. She didnt change the sheets and she put tea and decaf coffee pods instead. She did however change the towels. She did make the bed but it just was interesting that I asked specifically for those things and they didn't do that. I am not in anyway complaining. I would stay again. The front desk was great about the coffee pods, I just asked for more actual coffee pods and they brought them right away. I didnt mention the sheets to the front desk as I figured I wouldn't have her come in again for the rest of the trip anyway. There is a homeless camp just on the next block. It's no fault obviously of the hotel and they do a great job to still keep their place operating at higher standards I would definitely stay again. Thank you for an amazing stay.
