Friendly staff, pool and facilities are nice enough, although the limit of 10 people was hard to navigate and many others did not observe rules - saw at least 8 people in the hot tub at once, all on their phones (cell phones should not be allowed in areas where others' children can be photographed). The steam room - doors hard to open, knob settings hard to turn and the environment wasn't very appealing. Hotel is dated, and not nearly as large or posh as photos. Overall, the hotel is ok - the beds though - worst sleep ever, averaged 4 hours of rest and had to sleep across the foot of the bed to find a spot that didn't shove coils in my bad back. Location is convenient to shops/food/subway. Restaurant horribly overpriced and food not very good - only open a few hours in the morning and evening - for the hype, I cannot say anything good about it - got better food from the grocery store and microwaved it in the room.
I'd rate this average - some positives and some negatives.Saw no evidence of bugs of any kind, so that is always a good thing. Glad to have been so close to the Festival of Lights.
