We stayed at Hotel Brossard for the Formula 1 Grand Prix based off of other reviews. The property is off of a side road, outside of downtown Montreal. The parking lot is rough to get into and parking was limited as the hotel was full due to the event. When we entered our room, we noticed the room was pretty warm so we turned the temperature down to start cooling it off. After a few hours we noticed it wasn’t getting any cooler. We went and told the front desk and they said they would send the maintenance man down to check on it. He came down about 5 minutes later and turned the temperature down more and said if it didn’t cool down, to return to the front desk. The room continued to get warmer so I, again, returned to the front desk. The attendant said I’m sorry there is nothing I can do, the only solution is to give you a fan. We spent 3 nights in a room that was around 77 degrees with a fan that just circulated hot air. For the price that we paid, I would expect a climate controlled room or for them to at least have a repair person that can come and look at things like these when they go out.

The room was dusty, especially the floor was extremely dirty and dusty. You can’t look outside the windows because nothing can be seen through them, again coz of dirt on them. Such an iconic building but not well maintained. My husband and I are newly married couple, this was a part of our honeymoon stay but instead of enjoying it, we ended up spending the entire time being disgusted over the dusty room. I have severe allergies and because of the dust, I ended up being sick, had to take my allergy medication to prevent going to the ER. Extremely disappointed!!!

Some good and some bad. The room was great. Comfortable bed, large room, nice bathroom. Hotel is near a major intersection with construction ongoing but no road noise in room at all. However, there was noise well into the evening from other rooms and the hallway. I could have covered it with the fan noise but the fan was too quiet (often a good thing but in this case not so good). Check in area was a bit tatty and the process was disorganized but they said computer problems were the issue so it's forgivable once. Generally, a good stay in a very convenient location with an excellent room but a few issues.
