My husband and I stayed one night at the Novatel Montreal Airport and really loved it. We were a little apprehensive because of mixed reviews but were so impressed- from such a warm check-in experience (thank you, Jenny!) to a very clean and comfortable and quiet room (room 522) to a relaxing, delicious dinner in the restaurant and very pleasant breakfast and efficient check-out - all excellent. There are really lovely tasteful European touches to this hotel - from the art and decor of the lobby to the soft spa-like music in the corridor of the 5th floor. We drove and we were not going to the airport so it was not important to us but I would caution travellers going to the airport to leave a good amount of time because traffic getting to the airport can be very congested and the terminal is located at the far end of the airport from the hotel. Other than leaving extra time for the airport, if needed, we would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

The check in was slow, bath tub was luxury according to staff. No dresser, tv wasn’t smart tv nor did the controller work or the second controller provided. Pool was freezing hot tub was broke while reason I stayed there. No clean towels at 9am when pool just opened. Toilet in room leaked . No microwave . Just was horrible experience.

It was clean, however, only 3 towels and 2 face clothes for two ladies for multiple days stay. Had to call down for towels the second morning. Was told that I had to come get them because only 1 staff member on premises until 8am. He was very apologetic and charming which was different than the gentleman who checked me in (had a chilly demeanor.)
