About a 12 minute walk from Morioka station. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. The onsen was great and the free ramen at 9:30pm and popsicles, yakult and other goodies were a nice treat. No need to bring pajamas because the ones they provide are soft and comfortable.

Rooms small and cramped. Toilet smelled like sewer gases. Good amenities.
Dormy Inns are fantastic for the extras and this one is no exception. The onsen and sauna are fantastic, and I loved that free ice creams are available after to help cool down. There was also free soba in the evening, free (replenished) bottles of water in the room and little strawberry jellies in the fridge.
The room was a decent size for Japan, though I think the hotel is missing an opportunity to put shelves in the entrance lobby area. Space for clothes storage is limited to 6 or 7 hangers.
The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Morioka station and on bus routes there, and 5-10 minutes walk into downtown for restaurants and bars.
The room was on the small side, but the amenities were great.
The best of course was the onsen on the top floor. Very relaxing, with free ice cream in the evening and free probiotic drink in the morning.
They also had free drinks (soda) in the afternoon in the restaurant, and a free half bowl of Ramen from 9:30 in the evening.
This is a little bit of a walk from the station, but definitely top of my list when I go back.
Natural Hot Springs Dormy Inn is always our #1 choice when we visit Morioka. It’s in a very convenient location to visit many museums and points of attraction in downtown Morioka. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and very understanding with my limited Japanese. They are also very responsive to messages on apps or emails. The hot springs are very nice and always clean. I like how there are 3 different temperatures baths and some are open air but your privacy is maintained. The hotel offers a lot of little perks like a welcome beverage and a late night snack as well as welcome desserts in room.
The bf is excellent. Spread is good, and chef made it a point to alternate some dishes. Onsen is good with hot cold and tub. Staff is friendly n efficient. Its a 15 mins walk fr Morioka station on very poor pavement.
The big selling point of this hotel is the onsen. They bring in real onsen water from the nearby Hachimantai area to use in their public baths, giving a good onsen experience right in the heart of Morioka.
Unfortunately, I found the bed and pillow to be much too firm, so it was a bit hard to get comfortable.
