Convent property. If you gamble, large area for such and an additional large area for sports betting. Several restaurants on the property. Rooms are good sized, but lacks interior design etc. Elevators on property are not the best and get tied up hugely during checkout hours. Valet service is quite good and efficient. Overall, property is good for a quick stay.

Enjoyed the $6.95 midnight to 6 am Steak and Eggs special at the Coronado Cafe, and the Prime Rib/Peeled Shrimp/Ribs Garden Buffet. Enjoyed my first manicure and pedicure at the Spa, and spending all day at the spa in the fitness room, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi -- trying to lose weight :)

Too many drunk noise cowboys make it hard to sleep. $32 a night resort fee is total crap. I will never again stay at a hotel with resort fees. Our Friday night rate was $280 plus $32 resort fee. That was way too much for a run of the mill hotel room.

Buffet is pretty good. Poker room is good and pretty busy. The hotel rooms were kinda sus and dirty in the corners and the shower backed up if the water ran more than a few minutes.

First time staying at South Point. It won’t be my last. Great property. Great employees. Huge casino where you’ll find all types of gambling games from roulette to video poker. I highly recommend this property. Extremely happy with this hotel.
