Loved Munich

Great time in Munich. Excellent sites. Our stay at Pension Belo Sono was great. It is in a great location (quiet and well connected with small shops and restaurants around).

No luggage storage serice no matter what

Clean room and great location. We arrived early in the morning around 9:30 am and there was a lady in the office who claimed she doesn't work here but just came in office to get some stuff done and will leave soon. It was a raining day and she insisted the policy of no luggage storage even we were going to check in on the same day. She suggested to leave them at the connodor area which can be accessed by everyone, or go back to central station and use luggage storage service there. Understood rule is rule but since there was someone in the office on a raining day, why not helping their guests out?

Great place for the money

Great place for the money. No lift, only stairs, which is a bummer when we were on the top floor. Unusually warm when we were there and there is no air conditioning. We loved the neighborhood it was in, and close to the metro.

Good place to stay in the Westend of Munich

This place was perfect for what I needed. The room was a good size for a single room. It was clean, warm and quiet. I would stay here again.

Nice place to stay in Munich

The pension was closed enough for short biking to main tourist centre. The bedroom was big and comfortable, but the bed was too soft to sleep. The rest, all good.

Clean, safe and easy access to subway

I was a single female traveler visiting Munich for 4 days. This was a Great hotel, easy to get to ...it was a 2 min walk to the metro station with a lot of restaurants and bars all around. Never felt unsafe at night. Great neighborhood . Check in and check out was easy, the hotel was clean Great stay, would recommend to anyone! Close to October fest Thanks!

Clean understaffed rooms.

GOOD: 1) Very clean. 2) Room was spacious. 3) WiFi was easy to access & strong (though occasionally flickered). 4) Coffee/tea station on the hallway. BAD: 1) Check-out is too early (10AM). 2) Check-in is late (1PM). 3) No staff in evening, and sparse staff otherwise. 4) They will not hold luggage.

Very good location & very clean room/bathromm

Very friendly and helpful staff (the receptionist was great!) Small room & bed but very clean with mordern-ish and nice furniture Toilets & bathroom super clean - cleaned everyday Very good location with metro just 5 min walk The street where the pension is has quite a few nice places to eat/drink Quiet and nice street The only 'negative' point is that isolation between rooms is not fantastic so if you don't have discreet neighbors, that can be a problem... Otherwise, I would definitely book this pension again!

Great spot if you're in Munich for several days

The Pension Belo Sono is not a "hotel" as much as it is a short-term apartment, with complete kitchen, from which one could thoroughly explore Munich. Their communications to me made this point quite clear, not a hotel - but a great house-keeping space (perhaps more like an air b&b). It's in a wonderfully interesting neighborhood and very close to public transit. I had minimal contact with "staff" but that person was multi-lingual, friendly and very helpful.

As expected and in a nice location

I know that some reviewers expressed angst about there being no A.C., but we found that to be pretty standard in Germany so we just cracked the windows at night. The neighborhood is quiet enough to leave them open (even on weekends!) and it worked fine. As for the stairs... well yeah. There is no elevator. But we packed reasonably and are able bodied so it was no issue. We found the rooms excellently appointed, clean, and spacious (though we booked a double). They are clearly recently remodeled and we were very comfortable. Downstairs is a great cafe and there are lots of eateries in walking distance. The subway line is super close which is awesome. There is parking on the street (€6 IN COINS for 24 hours) and the front desk gives info on other free parking/cheap parking further away. Our only complaint... the beds are so firm!!!! They are the hardest beds we slept on during our lengthy Germany trip. That was a bummer, but if you walk all over Munich you will be too tired to care ☺

Convenient and clean guesthouse

This is the second time I've stayed at Pension Belo Sono. I was happy to be able to return at the end of a business trip to Munich last week. The guesthouse is exceptionally clean and quiet, and it is close to the U-bahn, a supermarket, and places to eat, whilst still being in a quiet, calm neighbourhood. And the best part is the extraordinarily soft, comfortable bed. Thank you!
