This is on par or just below this level of hotel. It not dirty but could be cleaner. It really needs repairs and upgrades. It looks rundown and dated.

For the price paid (not inexpensive ) Property is really outdated, needs fundamental remodeling (flooring, wallpaper, furniture, bathroom, hallways and room carpeting motel / musty, other) looks more like a motel, room was small, inadequate, furniture needs to be replaced, light fixtures etc etc. Nothing “fresh, new and clean” about this property. . First impression was overpowering cleaning supply / air freshener smell) I suppose to mask whatever… in any case, wife and I thoroughly disappointed based upon (apparently inaccurate) reviews. I guess a good location for Nashville but without an overhaul of the property I would not stay here again. Staff is overall pleasant but property is really deficient.

Breakfast was good, room was nice.bed was comfortable. The massage chair was great after a long day of walking. It was a 20-25 minute walk to Broadway.

Had to stay in additional night because the concert got canceled due to rain. The hotel jacked up the rate to $490. For a additional night in the middle of the week and no special event taking place except for those that wanted to stay for the delayed concert. I felt I was being taken advantage of by the greed that quoted me that price. I went two blocks over for 325 a night and stayed at a Marriott. A five-star establishment. I learned my lesson.
