Beautiful property. Rooms were new and very nice. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom had huge tub. Elevators were fast. Pools and beach awesome. The ocean was beautiful , no seaweed or rocks. Could have used more water hammocks. Chair and umbrella service great. Suncreen available at towel huts, so don’t spend $41 in a bottle in the gift shop if you forgot yours. Filtered water available at towel huts, so don’t waste $15 on a bottle of water. My only complaint was with the food/dining- need reservations ahead of time and everything is way over priced, like ridiculously overpriced. Need more quick service options for food too.

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The property's amenities were perfect for my family. As most others have mentioned, the food is too expensive and the VAT tax takes away from the overall enjoyment of the stay.

It’s a nice place but the rooms and balconies are small. There are a lot of small pools and the parents with small kids go out early to stake their claim and don’t come back until 10-11. They do have small pools that you can reserve a spot at, but from what I saw hardly anyone was. The beach is way too crowded. The pools are only open from 9am to 6pm. You don’t need a room to come in and use the property. I would recommend Atlantis over Baha Mar.

The place was particularly beautiful. However we got hit by a hold on our credit card at check in. We were not even aware. I knew about the service charge but the accidental fees 200* # of days + 300 took us by surprise. Which started our baecation a little rocky. Coming from the US, we knew we paid for everything. We didn’t notify our bank that we were out of the country because we had cash on us. Took a few calls. We got over it quickly. The staff throughout were rude. But not just at baha mar but overall in bahamas. Which is crazy to me because bahamas is not cheap lol. The food was not the best. We ate out a lot since we had excursions almost every day. Beware that there is a service charge + tax on almost everything. One of our server told us that the service charge was not part if the tip. Chocking. So yeah overall great place with amenities. We wish we spent a lot more days but when we saw our bills afterwards we quickly ran out of there so they don’t charge us for the breath we took.

This is a beautiful hotel that offers you everything. I do believe however most dinner options are WAY to expensive for families feeding their kids. The best options are by the pool but they close by 5pm which is too early to satisfy the average child. Even for adults, with the many fees, I find the best options for eating is off the property at the Fish Fry. Have a early dinner by taking the BUS not taxi which is also WAY too expensive. I've learned that the people who live and work their are AMAZING and when I go again we will stay at a Airbnb or a non-resort upscale hotel that doesn't financially hold me hostage with fees fees and more fees. I really like the Hyatt but the rooms should offer more convenience like a refrigerator and take away those fees. UGG.
