Compare Ski Hotels in National Park Village

We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by then!

Four of my family with little kids enjoyed our stay in much. The location is so easy to up to Whakapapa. Breakfast basket was highlight of the morning as good portion and quality are provided to start your day. We love to stay over the days here just would like to

Great location, lovely dinners in front of the. Real log fireplace and great winter ambiance, tidy and clean rooms. We would be definitely back. Simple and exactly what we were after.

The Mountain Heights Lodge was lovely. Fabulous hosts, very comfortable and spacious rooms. Convenient for the walking trails. Short drive to cafes (The Station for great coffee and just opened for dinner) and pubs.

Loved staying here, staff were so helpful and great hosts. Aku mihi nui!
