Was only an overnight stay on drive down south, but found the motel very pleasant, with a homely vibe.

I would not recommend staying here if you want to get a good night's rest. You can literally hear everything through the walls, conversations, doors opening, footsteps, etc. Tried calling management to change my room, but they did not respond to my messages or answer the phone. Very disappointed, in particular to the response I received after I had checked out (see email acknowledging the issue).

The staff and restaurant were great. The room had no AC so it was kind of hot until the staff provided fans.

The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. I'm very glad I stayed here.

Good humble kiwi bach, cosy fire, and a good kitchen well set up for a family group. Great communication.
