Worst hotel experience ever

Worst hotel experience ever. I had called beforehand and gotten confirmation that it was possible to have 2 adults and 3 kids in a family room, where one of the kids was 5 years of age and would sleep in a crib beside one of the beds. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the woman at check-in demanded that I order two hotel rooms instead of one. When I presented her with the passports, she shouted that one passport was missing, even though I showed her 5 passports. She reluctantly accepted, but then gave me 7 (!) tickets for the shuttle bus the next morning, as if she wanted to tell me that I had too many kids or something. Other than the bad experience at check-in, the water in the pool was freezing cold, and the shuttle bus was delayed both ways. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Although it was great overall, the bathroom shower was a bit gross. Some crevices had brown mold/gunk that needs to be cleaned. Could’ve added more towels too, just 2 large and 2 small for 4 people. But okay overall 4/5.

Would stay again.

Shuttle pick up to & fro airport, easy. Nice & clean hotel, great breakfast, easy check in but terrible, loud “mechanical” grinding noises early in morning. Maybe elevator??

Good hotel, poor food service

Room was excellent - given a few hours early check in which was great Gym and pool excellent Food service mixed. Terrance and Sports Bar had the same menu which was disappointing and a bit misleading based on website photos. Terrace bar staff did accommodate my daughter’s dairy allergies by making changes. Sports bar staff refused to make changes (swapping bread!) to accommodate her allergies leaving her with one option for dinner which was pretty poor.

Helpful shuttle that runs to the airport. Restaurants were quite empty but the food was decent. Great location super close to the airport, however not many places to walk to and eat near the hotel. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room as there were clumps of hair left in the shower and also hair left in the sink from the previous guest. The bed was quite stiff as well. Air conditioning worked well. The doors to the rooms slam pretty hard if left to shut, and so we did experience some noise from neighbors during the night.

Great airport hotel, with a lovely outdoor pool area. I only wish the pool&gym showers had shampoo, conditioner and shower available in the cabin. Otherwise we had a great experience.
