This resort could be a really nice place to travel to if they had more staff ..power was out when we arrived ..there was no clean towels for the pool they will tell you to come back later …my room was not cleaned for 2 consecutive days I had to keep calling the front desk …restaurants did not take cash at all ..restaurant closes at 9:15 ..no microwave s in the room I could reheat my leftovers..restaurant is outdoor and on the beach it could be really but too many flies I feel like they should invest in teekee lamps

Right on the water which was nice. Thats about it. Staff was like we were bothering them. Menu says one price but your bill says another. Air conditioning was horrible. Grounds were not kept up. Far away from anything. Best deal was the soda machine. The convenient way on the beach was locked. Had to walk around the hotel to get on the beach. Overall would not visit agsin nor can i recommend.

Everything I’m about the resort was good with the exception of the restaurant. The rooms were nice. The staff was pretty friendly. The views were awesome. We were right on the beach probably 3040 feet from the water. The restaurant was a big disappointment I would go back with the hope that they would get the restaurant fixed

The location is great and all rooms face the beach with a large balcony. During our stay the power went out the morning we needed to check out. So we had no power or water to get ready to leave, they would not allow us to check out an hour late to give us time to use the toilet and shower. With no electricity the restaurant and coffee bar were also not open.

This was my family’s second stay at Emerald Bay. The location right on the beach with your own private balcony cannot be beat! The staff are generally lovely especially Lisa at the front desk and Natalia from the onsite restaurant who was super helpful and kind and helped me find a lost item. You will feel relaxed and revitalized staying here. The only suggestion I would make is the rooms need a refresh - maybe a microwave and better coffee machines too.

So while the view is BEAUTIFUL, the room itself was honestly terrible. The bed was very uncomfortable, the blankets were worse than hospital blankets. Just not the experience I expected to have. Should definitely invest in more comfortable features in the room.

Convenient and close to the airport a bit crowded when cruise ship docked no beach chairs for hotel residents crowded dining because the people off the ship have rights to the property day two no ships and property was much less crowded

This trip was amazing from start to finish. We were blown away by the view, and the amazing part is that every room has the same beautiful view of the bay. This was an older style resort, with an island boho vibe. The room was clean, not one bug in sight the whole 6 days! Watch out for the lizards and chameleons though lol. The only issue we came across was the shower water, it switched to very hot to very cold … we kept it on cold and it worked out to be warm, so we just did that the rest of the days. The vibe on the beach was so peaceful and chill. We are introverts and this was exactly what vibe we needed. We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant/bar and the food was amazing! The beach chairs under the real trees is so beautiful and peaceful, it wasn’t too busy either, maybe a little more on ship days, but the men working there always helped us find the best spot on the beach. Everyone was so helpful and kind. It was nice to slow down for a week and I’d pick this spot every time. Not to mention all the activities that are right there to do ( water activities and huge water jump float, water car, and so much more). My opinion… Magens bay don’t have nothing on Emerald beach.
This was our honeymoon so I gathered some sand and found a bunch of cool shells, rocks, and sea glass.

The waves never got big. Even during high tide they were still small. The weather was 80s and windy every day ( it was like a dream). It did have a sun shower a few times but then it went right back to normal.
