Bed was the shining star

We chose this hotel due to it not being too far of a drive from there to the French Quarter. The hotel itself seems a bit run down. The bed in our room was fantastic! Most of the time the beds in hotels give me terrible pack pain…but not this one. Very comfy! Hopefully they renovate the property soon and restore it to the 5 star quality it once was.

When we checked in, the facilities were not clean and after booking a deluxe king room we were assigned a accesible room with a lowered bed, when we asked the front desk they said we should have gone back down to the front desk and asked for a different room. But after checking in at 2am and a 7hr drive, and check out at 11am it was not convenient.

I like that the casino was walking distance,the hotel was clean,the staff was friendly. What i didn't like the room that i book was not the room it was handicap the bed was low to the floor, couldn't shower the water was not hot,there was no microwave in the room,furniture was outdated to me it just wasnt what i was expecting for the price
