The property is close to the main tourist streets but it is also away enough to have quiet. The staff was really nice. Hopefully they turn the pool into a heated pool and the bathrooms are pretty small.

It was quaint in the courtyard and I liked the safety feature of the front gate at the entrance to the rooms. I didn’t like that the floor was as so dirty in our room that my socks were black and the shower needed to be cleaned with bleach. It had a lot of mold in the shower and around the toilet because the shower glass leaked. It is old which is what I expected but cleanliness can always be fixed. The French Quarter is very noisy so keep that in mind. Had a great trip though!
