Good for a short stay

My twin room was very small, although for one person for a short stay it was fine. Although the furniture was shabby, the room and shared bathroom were very clean, as was the bedlinen. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The stopper in the sink did not work. I would have appreciated being told when I arrived that guests could get complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge in the main building, especially as my room in the annex had no tea/coffee facilities. A safety concern for winter was that the beds were pushed up against the radiator. Rather expensive for what was offered, although it was high season. Central location in the heart of Bloomsbury was ideal for me

The staff were super friendly and willing to help when asked. There is a communal bathroom and shower (shared but private bathroom), if you’re comfortable with that then no problem since it’s super clean. The rooms itself were quite small, but it does the job and was quite comfortable to sleep in. Overall a good stay for the location and price!

The staff here was very kind and helpful. They let us drop our bags in the early morning of the day of check in so we could explore all day and they allowed the same on check out day. This is an old hotel but they keep it very clean and quaint. Be sure to book a room with a private bath if that is important to you since most rooms are shared bathrooms between floors.

This place is adequate for the bargain traveler. We liked that it was within walking distance of where we needed to be on this weekend trip. However, our shared bathroom was a flight of steps down from our room's floor. Not ideal for night trips, but since it was okay for our short visit. Nice staff.

It was ok. Staff was so nice and helpful. My son was super sick and folks were extremely accommodating with our requests. However the room was extremely small. I took a 3 bed room and there was absolutely no place to walk in the room or even open our luggage. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. We ended up staying too much in the room because my son was sick, which started making me claustrophobic. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to other families - the entire experience was less hotel and more like a hostel.
