This place is great if you don’t want to go to the French Quarter but want to spend time in Uptown. The hotel is really clean and the staff is very friendly. It’s close to the streetcar line.

It was in such a pretty area of New Orleans and the trolley went right in front of the hotel so we rode it to the park, to restaurants, and to other destinations. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent Couples Mardi Gras stay

Came to see the parades which rolled right in front of the hotel & caught a show at Tipitina’s. Hotel staff was welcoming and accommodating, bring chairs outside for us to sit in and watch the parades, also giving great recommendations for food and drinks. Room was clean and comfortable, parking easy and secure, check out easy. Loved our stay here and already planning next years trip back to Hampton!

Disappointing amenities & service; great location

This place had very few amenities, and service was indifferent to disappointing. Most of the staff here would fulfill asks from guests, but there wasn't any proactive service. Room service was disappointing with the room service staff often forgetting to do something such as providing new cups or changing sheets. One day, they actually missed cleaning the room. Also, the room was very small and lacked basics such as having a table and chairs for two people to sit and eat. No pens or writing pads. There was only one hook to hang towels in the bathroom, and the bathroom fan was not effective. A real issue is that the room did not have drawers for you put your clothes. This place was very minimalist while fulfilling its stated amenities and services. It's primary benefit was its prime location in the Garden District.
