I’d stay here again but didn’t appreciate that the cost to park a car was $50 per night. The clerk didn’t bother to tell me there was free parking just a few blocks away in Treme. Before realizing this on my own, I had to experience being towed from what appeared to be a legitimate parking spot near the hotel. Nope you are supposed to park 20’ or more away from a crosswalk at a stoplight. There was no sign and I’ve definitely never heard of this rule in any city before NOLA. I made it clear that parking at the hotel wasn’t in my budget. Why didn’t the clerk just tell me how close I could park for free?!?!

Nope.... Uncleaned room with blood stains on bed.

So I really wanted to like this place but it just came up short. First off the initial front desk lady and porter were amazing. Super sweet. Got checked in an hour early, get to the room and it is unmade, with blood stains on the sheets after what appeared to be at best an odd adult evening. Not cool. Go back to front desk they say they will clean it. Come back 3 hours later and nothing. Back to front desk and this woman was rude. Tries to finally get someone to clean it. Another hour goes by and they finally switched us rooms after me bothering them enough. So that sucked. Then no VIP perks (free bottle of wine as advertised). Got like a bogo 1/2 off of one drink. The room itself was fine. Beds were comfy. Shower was good. Not going back :(

This was a very disappointing visit. The two biggest problems were the climate control and cleanliness. Each day i waites to see if the bathroom floor would be swept but it never was. There was hair and accumulated dust bunnies in the corners that were never cleaned. The toilet didnt work very well either, and splashes us when we flushed it. The A/C was the worst, and i ended up having to buy a fan to be able to sleep. When i called aboit its ineffectiveness I was told to hit a certain button that had little effect. The staff was amenable, and the weekday valet a standout.

Great location; very nice open-air atrium. Excellent service. We had a leak in the toilet tank and it was immediately addressed. Evening check-in Clerk was very helpful with Restaurant tips. Very nice overall experience.

Steps away from Bourbon with great parking!

Great location to Bourbon street! Literally steps away. Hotel was very nice, staff super friendly and helpful! The hotel needs updated a little bit but honestly it was a great stay. They offer parking onsite, it was easy to get access to your car. Very secure. It was $50 a night for valet. We will definitely stay here in the future!!

Would Definitely Come Stay here again

Great historic hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. The PRO's: proximity and walking distance to Bourbon St., Great restaurant and bar on site in hotel, Comfy room and bed. Very quiet if you stay in a room away from Bienville St. Nice but small gym we utilized several days on our trip. CON's: TV remote never worked, the Junior room was very small with minimal space in the bathroom. As you can tell the PRO's outweigh the CONS. If i were to come back next time I would try and get a better and bigger room. The "Junior" King was itty bitty.

The location was great and the overall property was interesting. Our room however was a bit outdated with peeling paint, bulbs out in the chandelier, tear in the bedsheet and questionable cleanliness of the shower.
